How to Keep Your Jewelry Clean and Sparkly??

All sparkly is all attractive. Jewelry is something that consumes attention and care. Most women in India are drawn towards buying new jewelry on a regular basis. It is common to see people buying pieces of jewelry for various ceremonies like marriage and small occasional parties. Well, buying jewelry is fascinating but it is necessary that we keep a tap to clean the ornaments on a regular basis to maintain the luster and attractive shine that can dwell people to want it more.

Taking your jewelry in for a professional cleaning does the job, but it's a pain in the butt. The good news is that pro cleaning isn't necessary. It's totally possible to shine up your own jewelry with common cleaning supplies most of us already have at home. 

Here we have some very easy way to keep your jewelry clean and sparkly.

  • Ammonia: Ammonia is a very strong agent of oxidation. Make a paste with ¼ baking soda and 2 tablespoons of water and apply the mixture on the ornaments and keep it for 15 minutes. It will keep the jewelry look all new will dust removed.
  • Beer: Beer sounds bit cheesy but trust me Dipping jewelry in a bowl of beer and then washing it gently with a cotton cloth can really show wonders in making your jewelry look all new and shiny.
  • Vinegar: Cleaning your gold and gemstone jewelry couldn't be easier with white vinegar. Just drop the jewelry into a jar of vinegar and wait for 10 to15 minutes, agitating occasionally. Remove and scrub with a soft-bristled toothbrush, if necessary.
  • Ketchup: Dip your ring or gold bracelets inside ketchup and rub gently to clean it up and then keep it in open air for 15 minutes. This will make your jewelry look all shiny and lustrous and ready for any occasion.
