Smartphone’s are conquering the world. The digitalization has changed the way communication is sighted at the moment. Every person irrespective of age is using a smartphone. So, now the question is, do you agree that there are infants and kids using these smart technology gadgets? If yes how far are you agreeing that there is an age when a child is ready to use a gadget like smartphones which are so self-consuming.

Deciding whether or not a child should have a cell phone covers more than taking into account their age. While there are tangible benefits to allowing a child to have a cell phone, there can also be downsides. It is the responsibility of the parents to monitor their child from diverting towards negative thoughts and wasting time.

If a child is actually using a smartphone in a regular interval there is nothing wrong unless the usage is baseless of any productivity. You always want your children to be safe and oftentimes parents feel safer when their child has a cell phone as they know they can get a hold of their child at any time. Smartphones are also a new hub that helps connectivity go stronger but with such benefits, there are drawbacks like having a cell phone can affect a child's sleep and ultimately their health. Smartphones open your child to videos, movies, social media, games, and more. While social interaction is good for kids, social media can open children up to bullying and other issues. Phones with all of these features can also disrupt a child's communication.

So, Is Your Child Ready?

Whether or not your child is ready to own a phone goes beyond simply their age. Parents should assess their children's maturity and level of responsibility and then give a smartphone.
