Causes of Liver Damage
The health of your liver is compromised by many things. These include: Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, Malnutrition, Corrhosis, Acetaminophen over usage, toxic Hepatitis which is caused by reaction to prescribed drugs, and alcohol consumption over a long time or in excess. Of all these causes, alcohol consumption is the most common cause of liver damage.
Symptoms of Liver Damage
Chronic liver failure occurs over a few months so you have time to notice the symptoms. But the symptoms are similar to other maladies, so it is hard to diagnose without tests. Common symptoms of liver damage are:

- Weight Loss
- Swollen abdomen
- Mental Disorientation
- Fatigue and Weakness
