People over the country are talking about how Anant Ambani lost all his weight in a short span of time. If you have not yet heard the hottest piece of gossip in the media, Anant Ambani, who is the son of India's richest man - Mukesh Ambani, is a very slim and fit guy today. After losing 108 kilos in 18 months, Anant has become an inspiration for all the overweight and obese people in our country.

So how did Anant Ambani lose all that flab? Mama Nita Ambani says it was all natural, so we rule out the stomach stapling that many rich kids go in for. Anant Ambani apparently has worked out a lot in these 18 month and has also exercised strict control on what he ate. Sounds simple, but it isn't. Anant was reportedly working out 5-6 hours every day. Anant's exercise regimen included walking 21 km every day, yoga, weight training, functional training and very high intensity cardio. Add to that eating very healthy food.

Is this A Good Way to Lose Weight?

Perhaps it was a quick and safe way to lose weight for Anant. But for most regular people, this is a little difficult. For instance, to we find it hard to make out one hour for a walk or 30 minutes for a cardio session. Do we even have 5-6 hours to spare every day?

Celebrities and industrialists have access to the best professionals in the field. They are assisted by dieticians, nutritionists and personal trainers. This is a lot of support that makes a big difference to how things work out. But without this professional supervision, trying to lose 108 kilos in 18 months might just backfire and affect your health negatively.

The ideal thing to do is to keep it slow and steady. Let Anant Ambani be your inspiration, but don't let his feat become your goal. Eat sensibly, work out religiously, and focus on being fitter every day.
