Do you ever wonder why everybody keeps on harping about antioxidants? Antioxidants are molecules that fight agening and disease and help you look, feel and stay youthful. They are good for general health, looks and skin. So naturally many companies started manufacturing antioxidant supplements. But recently researchers have established that antioxidant supplements do not prevent cancer, they in fact make one more prone to cancer.

So what does this mean for us? It means we should try to get our daily supply of antioxidants from natural sources. Here are a few natural sources that we all have access to:

1. Cinnamon

2. Assorted berries like strawberry, black berries, raspberry etc.

3. Amla or the Gooseberry.

4. Green Tea

5. Fresh green and red chillies

6. Turmeric

7. Ginger

Add these to your regular diet, and you shall never be deficient in antioxidants.
