Recent research suggests that all fizzy drinks cause tooth decay, colas in particular. The carbonated drinks may tatste good, but they are really bad for your health. They give you zero nutrition, are high in sugar content, have high doses of chemicals and pesticides and cause tooth decay. Naturally, it is advisable to completely avoid these drinks. But when the sun is scorching in the summer, everyone wants a cool drink. So why not try homemade natural and healthier options this summer? 

Natural Yummy Cold Drinks For Your Family

-Aam Panna. This is such a yummy drink and it is so great for your body too. What's best is that you can make the concentrate on a Sunday and store it in a bottle in the referigerator for week. Just boil raw mangoes, mix the pulp with sugar, roasted cumin powder and rock salt, and cook for a few minutes. Cool and bottle. Now just mix a little concentrate with chilled water and enjoy!

-Lassi. Yogurt is great for the stomach and can be a great coolant for the body too. It can be made interesting by trying out new ideas. There's the original sweet lassi and the salty chach. You can also add fruit pulps and try the mango lassi, strawberry lassi, papaya lassi, pineapple lassi etc!

-Juices & Pulps. Natural home extracted juices and pulps are the best. You can juice/pulp anything from your favorite fruit to vegetables and salad items. It is advisable to drink the pulp of many items like tomatoes, cucumbers, papaya, mangoes etc. Just chill the juice/pulp of your favorite fruit/vegetable/salad, serve in a classy glass and garnish with a sprig of mint and ice. Yummy!

-Iced Tea & Cold Coffee. You do not have to go to an expensive coffee shop to enjoy iced tea or cold coffee. They are really easy to make at home. Just look on the internet for the recipes and you're all set!
