The largest state of India, Uttar Pradesh, is all set to get its youngest Chief Minister ever. At 38, Akhilesh Yadav has been chosen unanimously by his party to lead the state government. After the big win of Samajwadi Party in the state polls, Akhilesh had announced that his father Mulayam Singh Yadav would take on the role of the Chief Minister. But at a meeting of the SP legislators, Akhilesh's name was proposed and seconded by senior perty leaders.
Akhilesh Yadav will be sworn in as the Chief Minister of UP on 15th March 2012.
