Modern couples find it a little difficult to conceive as compared to their counterparts in the previous generations. This infertility can be ascribed to poor habits, toxic diets and various lifestyle diseases like the PCOD. If you are having difficulty conceiving, you will be happy to know that you can boost your fertility just by altering your diet. Here's how:

1. Have eggs and toast for breakfast. This high protein-carbohydrate breakfast gives you nutrition required to kickstart your day. The protein makes sure that you stay fuller for longer so there are no hunger pangs to lead to unhealthy snacking later.

2. Pomegranates for fertility. This juicy fruit may be  alittle difficult to peel, but those shiny pearls are totally worth the effort. Pomegranates are a hormone balancing fruit so if you have hormonal issues, you must include them in your diet.

3. Regulate Insulin levels. Insulin is known to prevent conception by blocking Progestrone levels in women. So it is important to regulate the Insulin level by eating low Glycemic Index foods. This means you should avoid processed white foods and sugary food. Have wholemeal and unprocessed foods that are slow in releasing the glucose.

4. Men should have foods high in Zinc because this mineral is important for the head and tail formation of sperms. So grab pumpkin seeds for him. Oysters are also known to boost fertility in men.

It is important to have good carbohydrates and proteins in your diet. But it is even more important to remove bad carbs like white bread, white pasta etc from your diet. Follow these dietary changes and you might see the results within a few months.
