Research proves that vegetables and fruits lose their efficacy and nutrients if stored in the fridge for more than a couple of days. These nutrients are necessary for your body. Instead a better way to enjoy the benefits of eating your veggies and fruits would be to buy them every couple of days and eat them as soon as possible. You could buy them on your way back home from work or you can tell the vegetable vendor to come at a specified time everyday when you are available at home.
