Before you read about how you can fall in love with yourself, you must know why it is important to love oneself.
Firstly, no matter how many people you have around yourself, you’ll be alone sometime, somewhere, for some reason. And at that time, you’ll have to trust yourself, for showing you the right way. If you do not love yourself, you may not be able to take the decision that’s best for you!
Secondly, everyone wants to feel loved. Of course, you get all the love in the world from your dear ones, but are they always going to be around? When you have your own love that gives you the courage and strength to win every battle in life… you’ll never feel alone!
And lastly, loving yourself is the only way you can gain confidence, and regain it over and over again, in unfavourable circumstances.
On your journey of life, you honour so many people with your love, but forget to honour the most important person in your life - YOU!
Love your mirror
Do you smile every time you pass by your mirror? If you don’t, please do. It shows how much you love yourself. It makes you fall in love with yourself. A mirror does not just reflect the way you look, but the way you are. If you are sad, it will reflect in your eyes; if you are upset, it will show on your face. A mirror gives you a chance to spend time with yourself. Make the most of it; think about yourself, when you look at yourself. Know the reasons why you should love yourself.
Be honest to yourself.
To love yourself, you first need to know yourself. If you think that’s stupid, think again. Most people don’t know what they are, until someone makes them realise it.
Consider all your physical, emotional and intellectual aspects and try to understand how good or bad you are with these things. Also evaluate the willingness and potential you possess to improve.
Make yourself lovable
If you can’t get yourself to like you, ask why. Try to change things within and around yourself so that you feel lovable. Your thinking, your habits, your actions, your potential, even your interests – whatever makes you miserable deserves a change.
Loving yourself, not only makes you strong and confident, but also continuously works for your betterment… because unless you really love yourself, you will not make enough efforts to change yourself to achieve perfection!
