Even years after winning the Miss World title, model Yukta Mukhey hasn’t been able to give any direction to her filmi career! God knows how she plans to direct full fledged Bollywood movies?

Yet, film direction is now on her mind and she is determined to restart her filmi gaddi with it.

When she first began her career in Bollywood, all she could manage was to grab a role in Pyaasa opposite a one-hit-star Aftab Shivdasaani, who was himself trying to find his aftaab of hope in the industry!

The movie bombed, leaving her pyaasi for good roles. Then she hopped from one timid role to another in movies like Love In Japan, Kathputli and Memsaab . And if you cannot recall any such releases in Bollywood, believe me, it’s not your fault!

The last resort, the item numbers have also been tried by Yukta, but in vain. Even Bhojpuri audiences didn’t find her spicy enough! Oh yes, the film in which she did an item song was a ‘c’ grade Bhojpuri flicker!

Now, direction is probably her last resort to make a comeback on Page 3, and so, here she, is claiming to direct something she doesn’t know the head or tail of!

Of course there is nothing wrong in actors taking up direction when they aren’t much in demand in the ‘acting market’! But at least actors like Manisha Koirala and Pooja Bhatt have learnt the ABC of film making while acting on the sets of their films! Where does Yukta plan to get this experience from? Or does she feel that she is born with this talent?

But let us warn you Yukta, luck will not always shine on you like it did in the beauty contest. You gotaa have some talent to direct a team of talented people!
