Water Turning into Gold

Some Shocking Facts
The oil prices are leaping high giving us nightmares that we live every moment of travel! The pace at which the value of gold is shooting up would put a rocket to shame! And so here we are, entangled in this race against inflation. Little do we realize that the most valuable commodity in the world today, is not oil, not natural gas, not even some type of renewable energy or some precious metal. Its water clean, safe, fresh water.

Falling water levels are giving way to rising prices of the precious element!

According to sources, the worldwide scarcity of usable water worldwide already has made water more valuable than oil.

It is estimated that by year 2050, more than two billion people in 48 countries will lack sufficient water! Can you mark that?

Approximately 97 percent of the water on planet Earth is saltwater. Much of the remaining fresh-water is frozen in glaciers or the polar ice caps. Lakes, rivers and groundwater account for about 1 percent of the worlds potentially usable freshwater! Now, think of the exploding population that claims this 1 percent!

If global warming continues to melt glaciers in the Polar Regions, as expected, the supply of freshwater may actually decrease. First, freshwater from the melting glaciers will mingle with saltwater in the oceans and become too salty to drink. Second, the increased ocean volume will cause sea levels to rise, contaminating freshwater sources along coastal regions with seawater.

This was just the tip of the iceberg just a few of the shocking facts about the most important commodity to sustain life! Now just think of the amount of water we waste everyway and the amount of sewage waste that is drained every hour! The alarm is ringing!
