Authors:

Are films really a reflection of the society? Or are they catalysts in bringing the desirable, and more often, the undesirable changes in the society?

The debate might have become aged and lost all its impact on the young debaters of India, but the question now hangs like a naked sword on innocent people’s necks!

Authors:

Tamil Nadu Bandit, Veerappan is yet again in focus of Bollywood. And guess who’s creative brain is the subject tickling? Of course, the director who loves experimenting with the underworld (in his films of course), Mr. Ram Gopal Varma!

What is even more interesting is the fact that he is being accompanied, in this project, by none other than the queen of Indian Television Soaps, Ekta Kapoor .

The hot superstar, Abhishek Bachchan recently gave a long lecture on the subject of Sex to a large group of villagers! But before you start making assumptions about this speech, let me tell you that the actor is not on any social service mission to rural India. The handsome superstar just randomly chose to speak on this interesting topic.

When Ash Met John

Authors:

Naah Naah girlies, Ash is not having a secret affair with apna John. As if Bips would let her!!! (Though I must admit, it would have made a great story.) But fear not, everything is OK in the Bachchan household. How could it be otherwise? Ash is rarely actually in the house you see!!! ‘Heavy is the price of fame’, said someone. More so, if you are in Bollywood.

Is Sarkar Raj worth spending money on?

sarkar raj.jpg

I'd say it is! Even though I didnt like the prequel as much, the sequel seems to be better. In the second installment, Sarkar aka Subhash Nagre (Amitabh Bachchan) takes a backseat as son Shankar Nagre (Abhishek Bachchan) takes hold of the family empire. An NRI industrialist Anita Ranjan (Aishwarya Rai) approaches the Nagre family with a power plant project to be set in the local lands of Maharashtra under Sarkar’s domain. After initial reluctance, Sarkar gives a go ahead to the venture which soon takes shape of a political conspiracy.
