Ashutosh Gowariker is not one to rest on the laurels of his successful movies. After the mixed response to his Jodha Akbar, the ace director is all set to begin his next venture titled “What’s Your Rashee”. Ashutosh has finalized his leading lady as well as the lead hero for his film.

Jodha Akbar turns out to be a pile of controversies. Rajasthan, from where the film has sourced most of its exquisite jewellery, refuses to accept the ‘historical’ love story of Akbar and Jodha. The Rajputs claim that Jodha never was Akbar’s wife. In fact, she was his son’s wife, Akbar’s daughter-in-law!
The film, thus, has been banned in Rajasthan and is struggling with the state government for its release!
Did anyone miss Birbal?

Did anyone find it surprising that a movie based on the life/love of Emperor Akbar, did not find two minutes to mention Birbal? I was not only surprised but also a tad disappointed!
But the truth is that the director had originally planned to include Birbal in this tale. He had even shot some scenes with the character of Birbal. But the duration of the movie, which had already exceeded three hours, forced producer-director Ashutosh Gowariker to delete the character of Birbal, who wins over the emperor with his wit and humor, from Jodhaa Akbar.

Ash is one actress who has our male actors runing away. First it was Salman, then Viveik, followed by SRK and now even Hritik is swearing off the pretty co-star! Why don't these guys want to work with Ash?
Few people know that 'Jodha Akbar' was first offered to Salman Khan and even SRK. But both the Khans refused to work with the light eyed beauty. And reports say that even Hritik won't be too eager to work with Ms Rai after finishing Jodha Akbar.
