Producer Vikas Kapoor together with director Samir Karnik is planning, what you may call the biggest film of Bollywood so far! It’s the biggest, not just in its budget but in its star cast too!

The film, temporarily being called Lanka, has been estimated at a budget of Rs.90 crore! And this is exclusive of the cost of stars that it plans to rope in!

So you have no idea who Samir Karnik is? Don’t worry, few people remember this guy! Samir is the film maker who gave us two “very shoddy” films, Kyun Ho Gaya Na and Nanhe Jaiselmer. In spite of big names like Aishwarya Rai & Viveik Oberoi (yeah yeah, Viveik was a big name back then), “Kyun Ho Gaya Na” bombed miserably. No chemistry, no content, no box office success and no critical acclaim! Years later, Samir gave film making another shot and “Nanhe Jaiselmer” met with the same fate.

Priyanka Chopa, ex-Miss World and popular Bollywood actor is a star in her own right. We have all seen her deliver hit after hit over the years. She debuted opposite Sunny Deol in Hero: The Love Story Of A Spy. Then she gave hits like Andaaz, Aitraaz, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Bluffmaster, Krrish and Don in a period of 7 years.
