The scoop is that Ketan Mehta who was supposed to direct Sushmita in this legendary role, changed his mind and dropped the ex-Miss Universe from his movie! In fact, he replaced Sush with old rival Ashwarya Rai. Not one to take this lying down, spunky Sushmita Sen decided to direct herself in the movie. So we will soon be seeing both Sushmita Sen and Ashwarya Rai don the character of the legendary queen pretty soon!

Hey wait! There’s more to this story, people. News is in that another version of the same movie is also expected to go on the floors pretty soon. Feroze Nadiadwala is also venturing on the same project with hot actress Deepika Padukone in the lead role! Now if you think this one sounds like a winner, you are absolutely right! The reason is that this project has another “Golden” name attached. The very successful khiladi Akshay Kumar will be seen in the role of Tantya Tope in this flick. What more can one ask for? Interestingly, this will be Akki’s first historical movie.
