The film is titled Desire and will be directed by Sarath Kumar. What’s the biggest USP of this film? This film will be made in English and dubbed in Chinese. To successfully capture the Chinese market, the film will even have its premiere in Shanghai.

Now, are you wondering why would the Chings and Mings want to see our Shilpa? Simple, yaar! The hero will be Chinese! Yes, Shilpa will be paired with Chinese star Xia Yu in this film. Xia Yu, incidentally, is the youngest actor to win the Best Actor award at Venice Film Festival for his very first film ‘In The Heat Of The Sun’ in 1994.

Some time back she was talking about some desi babes’ project for which she’d even chosen Bips. Arrey! So Shilpa has decided to focus on her acting career for now.
