The dashing Shahid Kapoor is finally out of his depression that Kareena Kapoor had left him with! He has finally stopped smoking!

Yes, smoking! The little, sincere-looking boy had actually started smoking after the big breakup. But now, he has given up his ‘bad habit’!

It seems that he has finally understood that the hot chick was not meant for a sweet little boy like him. He did some good to her by gifting her some of his dancing skills. But now the lady has simply (and pretty quickly)moved on! Then, why should Shahid take the pain and torture his own (sexy) body for her?

Especially, after the wide-scale propaganda that Saif and Kareena received at Filmfare this year, Shahid must have realized that now its time he lets go of his ‘love’ for her!

A close friend of Shahid recently revealed that the actor had started smoking on the sets of Kismet Connection in Canada after his break-up with Kareena. “He was often stressed out and we didn’t realize what was wrong with him. Suddenly, we saw him smoking heavily during the shoots. We thought it was work-related stress, but we were worried when we saw that he had become a chain smoker.”

He further added, “Friends bugged him a lot and advised him against becoming a chain smoker as it would ruin his health, and thankfully Shahid has realized his folly.”

He also said that Shahid was happier after Jab We Met was hugely appreciated and that doesn’t need cigarettes anymore!

Even his personal trainer is very glad with Shahid’s decision to quit smoking, “Thank goodness, he kicked off the habit and has stuck to it.”

So, finally the hero has accepted the facts of life and has stopped spoiling his health!
