i agree that men rape/beat women to show their superiority. But sometimes it is also because men think women want it, due to flirting or wearing revealing clothes etc. I am not saying it is right, but it is true.

men have a problem in accepting women as equals. why else is there a rise in crimes against women? men rape, only to show superiority. they dont see it in any other way, so this is their way of showing.

Even though I still believe that our men are not yet upto this huge challenge, I must point out that a few such men do exist. But the number is so less, that they do not matter! even if some memsaab comes and says that she knows someone who is ok with wife making more dough....the larger truth will still remain unchanged.

I don't think so. the reason this is not acceptable is that traditionally, men have been the bread winners...and their wives making more dough seems like an absolute role reversal. I don't think our men r mature enough to deal with this yet. they may accept it on the face, but will exhibit their resentment in other ways. Wot do u think?
