This is the news being flashed across the media courtesy the Bachchans. And naturally, there’s no truth to it. It’s as true as the ‘farmer’ status that the Bachchans have been claiming. As if all the recent land scam controversy was not enough, the Bachchans have once again landed themselves in an ‘unfair practice’ issue.

Wizcraft, the organizers of the Bachchans’ world tour Unforgettables, recently approached Saif and Shahid with a business proposal. Both the actors were approached with an offer to accompany the Bachchans on their world tour. But neither of the two accepted the offer. They did not give any answer as they needed some time to think about it. Shahid and Saif have been on “not too good” terms ever since Kareena dumped “long time boyfriend” Shahid for the “much older” Saif.

But the Bachchans tried to get as much mileage as they could out of the whole thing by claiming that the two had agreed. News of Shahid and Saif patching up and dancing together on the “unforgettable” world tour was spread like wildfire all over the media. Probably the Bachchans wanted to use big names like Shahid and Saif so badly that they could not wait for an answer (…what if it were not in affirmative?).

Both Shahid and Saif are quite offended by the thought of being used by the Bachchans to promote their world tour. Me thinks that papa Bachchan knows nobody is going to buy a ticket to see a tall, lanky and lousy dancer on stage. So he needs big names to support his world tour and to sell some tickets. If anyone comes to watch the shows, it will probably just be for Ash. Mr. Bachchan has good business sense and is trying to make the best of the situation. Nothing wrong with that, Right people?
