Well… you don’t need to. Because she has decided to do just that, here, right in front of your eyes!

She is planning to take up the role of a friend of Jesus Christ in a Hollywood flick! Yes, a friend of Jesus! Oh Jesus!

It’s a Drew Heriot movie titled The Aquarian Gospel, about Jesus’s life between the ages of 13 and 30. It’s a period not documented in the Gospels, though legend has it that he traveled through India, Tibet and Persia!

Mallika was chosen by Heriot himself to play the role of Saraswati - an Indian yogi (can you beat that?) who befriends Jesus. He says that he liked her work very much (Is he sure it was ‘work’ that he liked?).

This is what she has to say about it, “I find that in most mythological and spiritual film stories, women seem to be lacking any true wisdom or a sense of humor”. The actress feels that it would be a challenge for her to bring to life her character as a female yogi in the movie! “I look forward to bringing both of those qualities to this character”, she concludes.

Mallika surely will try and give her best to this hatke performance. All we are concerned about is the controversy that this bold choice is going to ignite!
