Only a few months ago… the dashing hero from Left Right Left – Rajveer ‘sir’ quit the serial, even while its TRPs were soaring, disappointing all of us! He said that he was ‘bored’ of playing the role.

But aandar ki khabar yeh hai ki he wasn’t really bored of the ‘role’ he was playing on the small screen, but of small screen itself! So, he decided give the big screen a try!

So, hold on ladies, the handsome young man will soon be making his big screen debut with Aamir a UTV Spotboy production.

… Want to know how Rajeev Khandelwal bagged the opportunity? The film has Anurag Kashyap as its creative producer. Anurag found the film script very interesting. He also believes in Rajeev as an actor very strongly… he proved to be a perfect fit for the role!

Here’s a hint of the film’s story. Rajeev plays the lead protagonist Aamir in the film, who is a London based doctor. The film deals with the issue of terrorism. Aamir comes back to India to meet his family. Little does he know that he will soon get involved in a conspiracy that will take the story to its thrilling finale!

Aamir is directed by debutant Rajkumar Gupta who had earlier assisted Anurag Kashyap in No Smoking.
