Ashutosh Gowariker is not one to rest on the laurels of his successful movies. After the mixed response to his Jodha Akbar, the ace director is all set to begin his next venture titled “What’s Your Rashee”. Ashutosh has finalized his leading lady as well as the lead hero for his film.

Yes, Priyanka Choprahas been roped in to play the heroine in this movie. There’s no surprise thete coz Priyanka is an established actor that any producer/director can bank upon. But the real surprise lies in Ashutosh’s choice of male lead. It’s none other than Priyanka’s beau Harman Baweja.

Ashutosh is known to make films with successful and established stars only. So why has he decided to reverse the trend in “What’s Your Rashee”? Many people say that Priyanka has been able to influence the director in his decision. But me thinks that it’s hardly likely. After all, Harman Baweja may be the next big thing in Bollywood. And what hold does Priyanka hold over Ashutosh anyway?

Priyanka herself says that the director saw the rushes of Love Story 2050 and decided to give Harman the coveted role. It would be rather foolish if a director chose his lead guy on the advice of lead girl alone. Mr. Ashutosh is definitely not a fool. So rest assured, he must have been really impressed with the lad’s performance in his debut movie. Time will tell if this risk pays off for Mr. Gowariker.
