It can become quite a pain to get up in the morning and do the same job everyday, day after day, year after year! However interesting your job maybe, at some point or another you must have felt the ‘burden’ of the job!

So, let’s try to break this monotony … remove this ‘burden’ called ‘work’. Let’s try to make work a lot more fun!

Humour and enjoyment at work can be a great motivator and will ultimately help in improving your performance! It increases satisfaction and gives you a reason to look forward to working everyday! Sounds great, doesn’t it? And you can make this happen, easily!

Use Some Common Sense
Sometimes, we get so engrossed in our daily jobs that we overlook the funny side of life! Many problems can be avoided simply by laughing them off! Remember how you used to crave to crack jokes in the middle of a boring lecture at school? Where have all those jokes gone? Your boss may be as bad as your chemistry teacher in school! Then why is he giving you nightmares, while your teacher simply reminded you off all the funny creatures on earth? Just take light… and laugh it out!

Activate Your Funny Side
Try not to take things too seriously. Even the most serious being in your office has a funny bone. All you need to do is, tickle it a bit! As long as you do not talk offensive stuff, people will only appreciate your lighter side. It will not only help in making the work environment cooler, but will also improve your interactions with your subordinates. They will response positively and enjoy working with you!

Send Some Funny Forwards
If your workplace is not strict about used personal email ids, have some fun with the forwarded mails. At times they provide a very good break from the hectic work. You can find some hilarious stuff on the internet. Share it with your colleagues and take a break to have a good laugh with them!

Gossip!
Hey! How can you forget to gossip? It’s our birthright, isn’t it? So what if you have too many male colleagues? Didn’t you read the recent study that said that men gossip 20% more than females do!
Try sharing a few rumours with them and see how they react! And if you find a gang of girls at your workplace for yourself… nothing like it! Informal communication or grapevine has always been an important part of an organizational structure!

Take it Easy, Baby!
There are much more important things that can go wrong in life than a lost file! You have a loving family, supportive friends, good health and a wonderful life. One stupid error blinking in a gray box on your desktop won’t change the beautiful world you live in! It only a job after all!

Because all work and no fun can make anyone a dull person!
