Agreed, what Gere did to Shilpa was unusual. But why are we so against anything so unusual happening? Shipla, the so called 'victim' has no problems with Gere's behaviour, but the entire country is taking it so personally! Nobody is complaining... but our lower courts are giving judgements!
Could someone tell me how exactly is this incident going to chatter our cultural values? The event was unusual enough not to become a part of our culture even gradually!
If something unusual or even shocking happens, it is ok to comment on it, and as much as we like, but can we just stop making it a legal issue for heaven's sake??
