ORANGE! No, no... I am not talking about the juicy fruit... i am in love with the colour orange!
People tell me they love colours like blue, black, pink, mauve, cyan ... even bright colours like red. But I have rarely known somebody who loves this loud and bright colour! What is stranger is the fact that I have always been amongst those people who were into completely subtle, English colours like blue and grey. Then suddenly why has this new craze climbed up my brains?
Of course it is a craze! I'll tell you how... the almera that a few only a few months ago displayed attires in blue, black and white is suddenly overflowing with shades of bright orange t-shirts! I have purchased half a dozen earrings of this shade, a bed cover that has a pattern in orange and blue, two suits- one with an orange floral pattern and the other with a bright orange border and as if that was not enough yesterday my heart fell in love with a pair of orange sport shoes... and i did buy them!
My sister has warned me that she'll throw my things out of the room if I try to put that bedcover anywhere within her sight, leave alone the bed and has told be not to wear those new dresses when her friends are around!
My mom is not able to control her laughter... looking at this weird situation that has suddenly come up!
Sometimes I feel... am I really in love with orange or is it just an infatuation??!!
