Recently my friend Anamika separated from her husband Piyush. Anamika had met Piyush three years ago. After an affair that lasted for over a year, they got married. And my poor friend got the shock of her life when Piyush told her that he wanted a divorce. Barely eighteen months into the marriage, Piyush had fallen in love with another woman!!! The sad part was that Anamika never suspected it. Her husband was having an affair right under her nose, and she didn’t realize it.

There may be n number of reasons for a loving husband to cheat on his doting wife. Lack of romance, spending too much time with female colleagues at work, having a low self-esteem etc are a few of them. But whatever the reason may be, there are certain behavioral changes that can tell you the direction in which the wind is blowing. If you keep your eyes open, you can catch that cheating husband of yours. Here’s how…

• The first and the most common sign is, coming home late every single night. Its not as if all men who come home late are having affairs at work. But if you sense that your spouse lacks the desire to come home at a decent hour, you are in for trouble girlie!

• While this one may not really happen, one of the surefire signs is lipstick on the shirt. Usually this sign manifests itself in the movies and serials we watch. So cheating husbands are quite careful about this.

• Is he complimenting you more often than he used to? Hmmmmm..That makes you happy, doesn’t it? Don’t mind darling, but he’s probably doing it out of guilt. Be cautious and careful if your hubby suddenly starts trying to please you.

• Does he never let his cell phone out of his sight? Is he taking it into the shower too? He’s probably trying to hide something from you.

• Does his work take him out of the city regularly? Maybe you should ask him to take you too. Sometimes, outstation trips are merely out-of-marriage trips to a secret rendezvous.

• Is he constantly checking out his own butt in the mirror? Paying too much attention to looks can be another sign, especially if this is a new behavior.

• Spending too much time hooked on to the net is another telltale sign of wandering.
