The Hair That Suits You

A cute round face can transform into a sexy, long one only by a Hair Cut… Such is the power of the Hair Dresser’s scissors!

Your hair cut always has a lot to say about you. It speaks about your style, persona, comfort level, and even your sex appeal!

So, what’s your hair style?

Your haircut should be such that it highlights you best feature, or at least tries to draw attention away from the not-so-good one!

When Kajol chopped her hair for Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, to look cuter and younger for the first half of the story, many girls went to their saloons with the same hope: to look young! But not all got what they wanted. Not really because the hair cut was faulty, but because the style didn’t suit their faces!

So, the most important thing to remember while choosing a haircut is its suitability to your face cut.

Hair Cut and Face Cut Go Hand In Hand

If you have a long face, an ear length short-cut will divide your face into two halves, and make it appear even longer. However, a shoulder length bob cut will do the trick. Similarly, when you have a round face, wear long hair that will add length to your face.

At all times, the hair dresser at your favourite saloon will be the best one to get advice from.

You May Also Play Safe!
Nevertheless, if you aren’t very style-conscious and don’t want to give much time to ‘hair-style-consultancies’, here are the Two Universal Laws following which you can always get a decent hairdo:

Go Layers
Layers always do well on all shapes and facets, as long as they don’t cram up your face. Keep then towards the back, rather than having them fall all over your face with short trims at the front.

Medium Is Safe
A shoulder length haircut will always look good, with all face cuts, on all occasions! It’s neither too long, to stretch an already long face, not too short or wide to add to an already round or wide face.

These laws make selecting a haircut really simple and quick. But if you are willing to experiment a bit with your hair, wait for the second segment of “The Hair That Suits You”.
