Ranbir Kapoor back to work, after Shashi Kapoor’s demise
It’s back to the grind for actor Ranbir Kapoor, who is now in Cape Town to shoot for Rajkumar Hirai’s untitled Sanjay Dutt biopic.
The actor, who was recently in Mumbai to be by his family’s side as news of his grand-uncle Shashi Kapoor’s passing broke, flew out of the city on Tuesday to fulfil his various work commitments.
After flying to Dubai for some prior work commitment, the actor reportedly headed over to South Africa, where he joined his co-star Manisha Koirala.
The actress, who will be seen playing Ranbir’s mother on-screen recently shared a picture of the heartthrob during rehearsals in the city.
The movie which also stars Manisha Koirala, Sonam Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Dia Mirza and Vicky Kaushal is slated to release next year.
Ranbir, who has undergone a major physical transformation to best match Dutt’s physique during the various stages of his life, took his trainer along to help him bulk up for the part. Videos posted by his trainer see the star pumping iron and working hard on building his upper body.
