Amitabh Bachchan takes to Blogging.
Aamir Khan follows Amitabh Bachchan’s lead and starts to blog.
Salman Khan turns blogger as his “Dus Ka Dum” takes off!
Ajay Devgan gets lured into blogosphere.
Every now and then, we heard news of some or other celebrity taking to blogging. Even people who did not really have anything to say were seen typing away happily. But it’s a shame that no female celebrity from India took to blogging all this while!
But now, all Indian women online can hold their heads up high. We do have some representation in the world of celeb-bloggers now. Yes, Pooja Bedi, the spunky actress-turned chat show host-turned “khatron ki khilaadi” has recently started blogging. The actress, known for speaking her mind and also for her animal rights activities, is probably the best where it comes to talking your heart out. Quite aptly, her blog has been titled, “I am, Who I Am”.
Pooja talks about the story of “five blind men and the elephant” in her first post. Comparing her own life with the story, she says, “Similarly people often end up making up their minds about people they have never met - especially celebrities - after just glancing through a few gossip columns. Someone would tag you in one manner another would fit you in one slot.
Having been through this sort of multi dimensional assessment myself, this blog is my way of saying there’s a lot more to me than just a sum of all the parts people tend to gossip about. I am what I am and through this blog, you will in time, get to know the real me.
Pooja is already famous amongst the residents of blogosphere! She is getting great responses even though she has posted a single post so far. You can also visit her blog and leave comments for Pooja at www.poojabediblogs.blogspot.com. The site has some really gorgeous pictures of Ms. Bedi and holds promises of some “real” talking about issues.
Pooja Bedi is best remembered for her role in “Jo Jeets Wohi Sikander”, opposite Aamir Khan. Her career in Bollywood has not been as illustrious as her career on TV. She is known for her two chat shows, Not Just Page 3 and Just Pooja. Pooja also participated in the hit dance show, “Jhalak Dikhla Ja” last year. She is also reputed to be a writer and her articles have been published in Times of India, Hindustan Times, Midday, Marie Claire and the Week.
Let us hope that her blogging efforts achieve what she wants to achieve – showing her real self. We all know how vocal Pooja can be, so her blog should be a real entertainer! Way to go, gal!!!
