Hey gals and guys, wots your take onthe recent Jodha-Akbar controversy? Do you think producers and directors should be allowed to take cinematic liberties, and twist history/facts to make their movies more appealing to the audience? Or do you think that director Ashutosh Gowarikar should have done a better job of researching and should have stuck with facts? When you make period dramas, or real event based movies, how much can you play around with facts? Is it Ok or is it an absolute No-No?
YES HE SHOULD HAVE DONE BETTER RESARCH
I think ashutosh was little weak in his resarch for the movue so he messed up with the liberties this will help him in feature if he is makeing any other historic movies
not only has ashutosh messed
not only has ashutosh messed with the facts of history in his movie...he has also tried to do some commercial stuff in it. where was the need to show hritik bare chested, flexing his muscles as he practiced sword fighting? why was so much attention focussed on his muscles? And why was ash wearing those low cut blouses, while other women were not?
anything to sell a movie, right Mr gowariker?
I completely agree that
I completely agree that history or real stories should not be messed with. If u claim to mke a period film, stick to the facts. When u can change a few things, why not change everything , or make sth new? I hate remixes for the same reason. If young guns r so creative, why not churn out your own music and lyrics? why steal the lovely lyrics and then rape then to death?
I think it's not a big deal.
I think it's not a big deal. Wots bad abt the movie is tht it's too long. Who has all tht time to watch some characters from history?
hiiiiiiii
invite me
Nobody shud mess with facts
Nobody shud mess with facts and hostory. show things as they happened. if u r so imaginative and creative, make up ur own story. why borrow from history and then distort it?
