In all these situations we tend to be slightly nervous, especially if we are new to them. Recently my friend Anamika separated from her husband Piyush. Anamika had met Piyush three years ago. After an affair that lasted for over a year, they got married. And my poor friend got the shock of her life when Piyush told her that he wanted a divorce. Barely eighteen months into the marriage, Piyush had fallen in love with another woman!!! The sad part was that Anamika never suspected it. Her husband was having an affair right under her nose, and she didn’t realize it.

When we are in love (and we often believe we are), we tend to ignore the other, more important, aspects of the relationship that will decide the future course of our lives.
