I know what you are thinking. “This must be some kind of a joke.” But this is not a joke! Govinda is really planning an image makeover. Though comedy is his forte, Chi Chi now wants to explore the “action-hero” option.

Nobody can deny the fact that Govinda is the best where it comes to comedy. His comic timing remains unbeaten. But lately, Govinda has not been doing too well in Bollywood. First he disappeared for a few years after doing a couple of comedies with Sanjay Dutt. The last two of his successful films were, “Haseena Maan Jayegi” and “Ek Aur Ek Gyarah”. From there, Govinda went to complete hibernation. At least we don’t remember him doing anything worth mention!

After his comeback, Govinda has been struggling to recreate his magic with films like ‘Bhagam Bhag’, ‘Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute To Love’, ‘Money Hai to Honey Hai’ and ‘Partner’. But in spite of his best efforts, the public is not able to connect with him like it used to. Blame it on his age or perhaps an unsightly body!

Chi Chi has realised that his dreams cannot be realised unless he does something drastic. So he has decided to go in for plastic surgery to reduce fat and look younger. Govinda hopes to reinvent himself by altering his looks. In fact, Govinda has his sight set on becoming an action hero!!!

In his own words, “My friends have sweet-talked me into it. However, before the surgery, I have to complete my current assignments. Most are either on the verge of completion or release. I have seven releases in the next one year after which I want to come back with an entirely different look”.

Though it is hard to imagine Govinda in this “macho action hero” avtaar, we still wish him luck in this endeavor. Even if he is not successful in delving into action, we still love his comedy! Don’t we?
