After the World Cup debacle in New Zealand, the BCCI has finally decided to infuse new talent into our team. The Board is planning to hire at least 5 new cricketers and has put out advertisements in all the major newspapers. This is what the advertisement looks like:

Openings in the Indian Cricket Team

Required: Young and talented cricketers. We have openings for the following positions.

Captain (1 Opening): Code C001
Vice Captain (1 Opening): Code C002
Team Members (4 Openings): Code C003
Coach (1 Opening): Code C004

Eligibility Criteria:

Active interest in street cricket and betting.
Interest in batting would be an added advantage.
Model looks are a must.
Please do not apply if you are not interested in endorsements.
Interest in tennis would be preferred.
Applicants with influential contacts will be given preference.

The Selection Process

Batting Test: Each applicant will bat against the Bermuda team. Only applicants scoring more than 10 runs will be considered.

Bowling Test: Each applicant will be given 4 overs to bowl. Applicants will have to demonstrate bowling skills by bowling at least 1 over that has less than 3 wide/no balls.

Endorsement Ability: Adman Prahlad Kakkar will test each applicant on camera-friendliness quotient. Please bring along a portfolio of your pictures done by a professional.

The Mandira Bedi Interview: Cricket know-all Ms. Mandira Bedi will conduct the final interview for applicants who reach this stage. Style matters the most.
