Today is World No Tobacco Day. An effort to remind people, the world over, of the hazards of smoking and reduce the number of deaths caused by this deadly habit.
Surely the words ‘smoking is injurious to health’ do not effect most of the habitual smokers. But for those who want to quit it, these words just remind them of their helplessness!

After Mumbai Indians put all Mumbaiites to shame with their dismal performance in the the IPL, it was the turn of Delhi Daredevils to do the same. Yesterday the team lost to Rajasthan Royals in an "oh! so boring" match. They did not even put up a decent fight. With this win the RR's have become everyone's fav team in the finals too. Hopefully the Punjab team can win their semi and challenege the R. Royals in the finals.

Mooted by the city-based Rethink Breast Cancer, a self-described bold new charity committed to beating cancer, the festival will showcase short films, documentaries, animation and dramatic features to highlight breast cancer and breast health.
From documentaries to dramas to comedies, the festival will profile films that span the emotional spectrum of breast cancer, the organizers said in a statement.

The much talked about producer-director, Mahesh Bhatt has shifted his inspiration for movies from foreign flicks to real Indian incidents! The latest example being his movie Jannat, that was inspired by the death of former Pakistan cricket coach, Bob Woolmer.
The movie is yet to move the public and get some good box office returns, the way Bhatt had expected it to, and he has already decided to make another one. This one too, inspired by a real life incident!

She hasn’t been moving many stones in the Film Industry with her talent, except in the revolutionary movie, Rang De Basanti, where the success was shared by six other ‘lead’ characters of the movie! So, she had to find another way to gain popularity in the glam world, among the movie makers as well as the movie goers.

No people, this is not gossip about the much talked about “Aamir Khan-Big B battle”. Aamir is the name of a movie being released on June 6. This is the date when the multi Bachchan starrer-RGV movie, Sarkar Raj is also slated for release. “Aamir” is a venture initiated by debutants. Though the promos of this thriller look quite interesting, the fate of this movie remains to be seen.

The battle continues between Aamir and Shah Rukh Khan after the infamous blog entry in which the former talked about his caretaker’s dog named ‘Shah Rukh’. The latest update is that their upcoming movies – SRK’s ‘Rab Ne Bana Bana Di Jodi’ and Aamir’s ‘Ghajini’ are to be released on the same date - December 12.
