On 20 April 2007, the entire country’s media went mad trying to capture and bring to us, every bit of the most celebrated Bollywood wedding: The Abhi-Ash Matrimony!

So this year, the Bachchan Parivaar decided to make it easier for the hungry media.

The entire anniversary celebration of Abhishek and Aishwarya Bachchan will be telecast via video conferencing for the zillions of fans of this married couple!

The celebration, of course, is going to be a magnanimous one…

The couple plans to take a few days off from their ever-so-hectic schedule to celebrate their first anniversary together at Miami.

Abhishek is already in Miami to shoot for Karan Johar’s home production, ‘Dostana’. The Bachchans will soon fly to the place to celebrate the couple’s anniversary and hold the video conference.

The idea of a video conference, of course, sprung out of BIG B’s mind. And the reason is obvious:

On the occasion, film-maker Ram Gopal Varma plans to unveil his upcoming movie Sarkar Raj. Considering the crazy fan following of the couple, the occasion will provide an excellent platform to create hype for the movie, supported by the much awaited Abhi-Ash Anniv!

So, the plan is that on the special occasion, the media doesn’t just have access to the big event, but is also welcome to interact with the couple! How cool is that! Celebration ka celebration, promotion ka promotion!

With the help of technology, the couple will be able to celebrate the occasion, far away from the noise and pollution of the city, yet provide meat for the media to flood the next day’s newspapers!

It sounds like quite a unique event. The country is already waiting breathlessly for the Abhi-Ash Anniversary Bash!
