Last three days have been really really really bad for us in Rohini, Delhi. There's been no water at all. No water to drink, no water to wash, no water to cook, no water for anything.

How did we manage? We managed with a few hand pumps and boring wells scattered around theplace. Filled and carried buckets of water to our houses every days.

Why did it happen? Nobody knows. Some say that a pipe had been damaged. Some say that it's just due to sacrcity of water. Nobody knows for sure.

What bothers me? The fact that summer has just started and we have at least three months to go. How are we going to survive if this keeps happening?

Such circumstances make you wonder why nobody cares about anything in this country? Why don't people conserve water and electricity? Why don't people worry about global warming? Why does saving the environment not seem important to people? Why is everyone so callous?
