Samsung has unveiled its latest gadget, a smartphone that runs on the Windows 8 Mobile. ATIV S is the first smart phone to use this OS. Samsung unveiled the phone at Berlin electronics show. After an American jury ruled that many of Samsung's Android based phones have infringed the patents owned by Apple, it seems that the curtain is up for Google Android based devices, making Windows the preferred OS for the upcoming phones and tablets.
Ativ boasts of a high-end 4.8-inch display, Corning "Gorilla" glass, and an 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.9-megapixel front-facing camera, dual-core 1.5GHz processor, a 4.8-inch high-definition Super AMOLED display, 1GB of RAM, microSDHC support. Samsung has indicated that it will soon launch an array of products based on Windows, since Apple Inc is moving courts to ban sale of 8 Samsung products.
Do you think it's worthwhile to buy a smartphone, or is a tablet a better investment?
