Celebrity Indian chef Gurpareet Bains has created a recipe that claims to cure insomnia. Gurpareet has created an Indian curry that helps people to sleep within 20 minutes of consumption. The curry has calming and relaxing effects which are similar to those of a tranquilliser.
People who have tasted this curry have reported that they feel tired and spaced out within 20 minutes. A TV journalist who tested this curry for its claims said that she felt 'comatose' after eating it, adding that if she were at home, she would have definitely fallen asleep after consumption.
So what is it that goes into this insomnia curry? Don't worry, Gurpareet does not add sleeping pills to his dish! The secret ingredient that induces sleep is nutmeg, which has the same properties as sleeping pills. Gurpareet adds 3 spoonfuls of this ingredient to his dish and hence the tranquillising effect.
