It wasn't very long ago that Hema Malini had famously declared that her daughter Esha Deol's wedding would be a "quiet family affair". But just look at the celebrity turnout at Esha's Sangeet, which is only the first day of a week long celebration.

Esha looked gorgeous in traditional ghagha-choli, a Rocky S creation while fiance Bharat Takhtani wore a velvet Sherwani designed by his friend Simone Khambatta. Hema Malini graced the ocassion in a subdued Sari created by Neeta Lulla. Little sister Ahana Deol, who organised everything for the Sangeet, arrived in a pretty sky blue Anarkali suit. Cousin Abhay Deol looked dashing as usual!
