Farhan Akhtar made his acting and singing debut in Bollywood with a film about music which rocked the country just as the title said "Rock On!"

Rock On became a cult film because it is one of the very few films about rock music in India. The film did surprisingly well and lead actors Farhan Akhtar and Arjun  Rampal greatly benefitted from it, Arjun even won the National Award for his role. Purab Kohli and Luke Kenny did not gain as much even though they also did a very good job in the film.

So now we hear that the sequel will definitely be produced soon. The team is already working on a script and it has been announced that the original team of these 4 actors along with Prachi Deasai has been finalised. Expect to watch the sequel next year.
